For over 20 years, Strickland Construction has supported the annual “I’m Third” charity golf tournament for Camp Wood YMCA in Elzdale, Kansas. The money raised helps pay tuition for kids who otherwise cannot afford to attend camp. No child will be turned away from camp for financial reasons. Since 2003, golfers have raised over $775,000 and brought 1,250+ kids to summer camp who would not have been able to attend on their own.

For 103 years, Camp Wood has hosted memorable and engaging summer camp experiences in the heart of the Kansas Flint Hills. Camp Wood YMCA offers numerous opportunities for kids to grow in character within its unique environment.
